Chella girl

Hi sweeties!

I'm currently recovering from one of the best weekends of my life. There's still dust in my throat and lungs, and the glitter doesn't wanna leave my skin, but I couldn't be more excited about last weekend! It was one hella chella!

First of all, let me start by apologizing for all the Coachella spam lately. I can explain though (I always can), this was my first Coachella, and even my first festival experience in my life! I know, I must have been living on another planet for the last 33 years. But I'm the type of person who always thinks 'yeah we'll go last minute' but of course that never happens 'cause by the time we decide we want to go, the festival is sold out. Anywayyy, this year I finally decided to go weekend 2 with the hubby and one of my besties Catherine. We got tickets only 3 weeks before the event, so it was kinda stressful to get all of my outfits in time! But I managed, and when I look at the pics now I couldn't be happier with the looks I chose!

Coachella is all about the fashion and outfits. And also about the amazing music of course (been playing Kendrick Lamar on repeat since last weekend). But especially as a blogger you have to get your outfits on fleek.

I went with a different look and a different style every day (more than 2 even, of course, you know me lol). My favorite outfit of the weekend was the 'desert princess' look wearing a nude sheer dress. Sheer dresses and skirts in combination with tons of body jewels and glitter were the biggest trends at Coachella this year. I saw so many amazing looks out there, I wish I could share them all with you guys.

I hope you can find some inspiration in this post for the upcoming festival season!

Last but not least, I'm kinda proud of my Coachella feature in ELLE Belgium this week. Here's the link for all my Dutch speaking baes.

xoxo

Unicorn vibes

If you're going for this look, you should keep your outfit simple and let the colors pop in your hair and make-up. I chose to wear ombré pink clip-in hair extensions by Bellami to get unicorn hair, and created a sparkly pink smokey eye with my Huda Beauty rose gold eyeshadow palette.

Flowerchild

This is a really easy and girly festival look. Pick your favorite floral dress, add a flower crown and voila!

Desert Princess

This look was my absolute favorite! If you want to rock the sheer trend you have to invest in the correct underwear. You don't want to wear a thong underneath a see through skirt! A pair of seamless high waisted panties or bikini bottoms will do the trick. Make the look edgier with a pair of black boots, and don't forget glitter and body jewels as the finishing touch of your desert princess look!

Rock Chick

I think this was the most comfy look of the weekend! Shorts, crop top, hair up, the perfect last-day-of-the-festival attire! Bandanas are such an easy way to give any look that rock 'n roll vibe, and the good news is that they are really inexpensive! (so go and get one in every color lol) I wore a cropped top and shorts by LF stores in LA. They don't have an online store so I'm linking some pretty alternatives below.
