Sundaze in Venice

The sun-baked boardwalk, the many street performers, rollerbladers, and of course Muscle Beach, where you can take your workout routine for the day, or just watch the Cali boys and girls show off there muscles. Venice Beach is all that, and much more.

It's one of my favorite places in LA to go and spend a relaxing day. So this sunday I dragged the hubby along (he's not really the beach type of guy, for real though, fml) and we went for a long walk, and an uh-mazing brunch on Abott Kinney.

I'm already obsessing over the Fall/Winter collections, but it's still 80 degrees outside in LA, so I tried to mix and match some new fall pieces with my summer staples. I've already mentioned my love for the white tee-layering in a previous post, so if you haven't tried this cool girl fashion trend yet, this is the time! Let me know if you love it as much as I do!

For this look I combined the prettiest black silk top with a simple white tee, cutoff shorts and some velvet booties.

Shop my style

'Marlowe top' in black silk by The Reformation

'Vintage Bandits' shorts by One Teaspoon

'Elva' mirrored heel ankle boots in black velvet by Public Desire (keep an eye on this amazing AND totally affordable brand, I recently discovered it and I am obsessed!)

I finished my black and white look with a cool felt hat, a choker, a leather cuff and one of my current favorite bags, my Chloé Faye.

Shop my style

'Stephen' hat by Janessa Leone (you can shop this LA brand in Belgium at one of my fav stores in Antwerp, Damoy)

'Hermione' cuff by The Middle Brand

Chloé Medium Faye bag via Saks Fifth Avenue (this color 'Merino Grey' was a boutique exclusive, but 'Motty Grey' is really similar)

Céline 'Audrey' sunglasses via Sunglass Avenue

You can't call it a sunday when there's no brunch and mimosas involved, right?

We had the most amazing brunch in one of my all time favorite places in LA, The Butcher's Daughter on Abott Kinney. It's a cool vegetarian lunch/coffee/brunch spot where they treat vegetables as a butcher would meat: they chop, fillet and carve the veggies into delicious meals. We both had the avocado toast benedict, it was to die for!

And finally, an ice cream a day... you know it sweeties.

xoxo
